JOIN US – KANSAS CITY YOUTH JAZZ

As you already may know, I am also on the faculty of the Kansas City Youth Jazz program (http://KCYouthJazz.org/), a privately funded community jazz education program much like the Kansas City Youth Symphony is for young classical artists.

KCYJ supplements what school music programs do. We are able to work on the details of applied jazz performance during our studies at KCYJ. Some of our participants have said the experience is much like “going to Jazz Camp every week”!

WE NEED TRUMPET PLAYERS & TROMBONE PLAYERS!!!
o more info: .PDF BROCHURE

Do you know any young artists to recommend for participation in KCYJ? If so, let me know or contact our Musical Director, Clarence Smith directly through the KCYJ site.

Feel free to pass along this note and my information as well.

Thanks! Cb
